According
to the American Heart Association’s statistical information,
approximately 164,600 cardiac arrests occur out-of-hospital annually
in the United States. Additionally, only about 27.4 percent of these
cardiac arrest victims are offered cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
(CPR). This statistic could be easily construed to imply that 1
in 4 or only 41,150 have much of a chance at survival. Today’s
employee oriented and safety conscious corporations have to find
that unacceptable. The humanitarian aspect of rendering on scene
help speaks for itself, it is the right thing to do. Failure to
act is very costly in terms of employee insurance and training and
is simply improper.
We at F.S.M. Safety Management Solutions use instructors with considerable practical and field experience to teach up-to-date and state-of-the-art cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques. We proudly teach by the American Heart Association standards and guidelines to achieve the best in emergency life saving instruction. Each of our Instructors will have experience actually working pre-hospital cardiac arrest situations and will be able relate from those experiences. While no one wants to ever have to use these skills, it is exceptionally important that we remain knowledgeable in proper administration to ensure that our work place is the safest it can be. We at FSM stand ready to help your company or agency achieve safety standards that are second to none. |
